Camera or microphone not working
Nine times out of ten this is the browser permission, not the site. Look for the camera icon in the address bar and make sure access is allowed, then reload the page. On phones, check that no other app is holding the camera. Still stuck? Try a different browser — if it works there, the first browser's settings are the culprit.
How matching works
One tap on start pairs you live with a person online at that moment — no queue to climb, no profile to polish. A quiet run of matches usually just means a quiet hour; evenings run busiest. The full loop is explained on the random video call page.
Coins, plainly
CamCall is free to start: the first matches cost nothing and no account stands ahead of them. Coins only extend longer sessions — a pay-as-you-go balance with every cost shown before you spend. No subscription renews on its own, ever.
Accounts: do you need one?
Not for your first calls — you can tap start and talk before any sign-up exists. An account becomes useful when you come back: it keeps your call history, your preferences, and your coin balance in one place.
Call quality problems
Live video rides on both connections, yours and theirs. If calls stutter, move closer to the router, close a few tabs, or switch from a busy public network. A call that starts blurry often sharpens within seconds as the connection settles.
Still stuck?
The contact page reaches a human. Tell us the email on your account, when the problem happened, and what you expected versus what you saw — most issues close in one reply with those three. For safety concerns, the in-call report button and the community guidelines are the right doors.
